ABOUT WCC ASSESSMENT

WCC PROFILE

WCC Assessment is an established Private College that was founded in 2011 and continues to provide Vocational and Technical Training Services. Our core business is to educate, equip, train and upskill all people so that they may have access to better employment opportunities, or be empowered to start their own successful Businesses, We provide training in various fields in a variety of sectors from electrical, construction, manufacturing, chemical, energy, mining, municipal, agricultural and railway.

As WCC we strive to inspire the current and future generations to exercise excellence in the work space. We do this by providing  quality education and training to Gauteng and beyond. We pay attention to detail, regulation, clarity, application, and implementation. It is our belief that if we play our part, the dream of an equitable society could soon rather than later, become a reality

Our Institution is CIPC registered and our Courses are accredited with EWSETA, QCTO, and the ETDPSETA

OUR MISSION

Our mission is to produce well trained, competent, professional,  well rounded and independent  practitioners that will empower the nation, especially the youth in economically depressed communities. The mission is to ensure that our WCC Assessments Vocational and Technical skills development reaches as far as impoverished communities so that most local people also benefit through the sustainability of our Education and Training Service.

William Culbert (Founder)

William Culbert qualified as a millwright at Iscor works in Pretoria in 1962. He spent the next couple of years working as an electrician in Germany, Australia and Canada

 

In 1970 he obtained a Wireman’s license which empowered him to start the Apprentice Training School for the City Council of Pretoria in 1975. The pursuit to better himself did not end there. William Culbert focused on his growth and development and went on to obtain his N6 by 1995.

In 1995 he became a master electrician.

 

William Culbert then went on to retire in 2003 as the Head of training at Premos. He began assessing electricians and preparing them for the installation rules paper 1 and 2. Mr Culbert has since trained many industry proffessionals who carry his legacy till this day.
