To become a licensed wireman you need to study electrical engineering subjects these include Math, Engineering Science, Industrial Electronics, Industrial Instruments/Logic systems and or Communication Electronics, these and N2 for single phase and N3 for 3phase. The next step is getting a trade test which can be Millwright/Construction Electrician/Mining Electrician/ Light Electrician or a trade with a good foundation in electrical training. For 3phase you would also need Installation Rules Paper 1 and Paper 2 which you can register with us .
